Dry day!...kinda

So the timer seemed to work yesterday...she got very excited every time the timer went off: "It's time to go POTTY!!!" She even wanted to take a nap in her panties :) (I needed to change the sheets anyway so I agreed-fresh sheets aaaahhhh). I feel like I spent the whole day taking her to the potty, going potty, and waiting for the next time...oh wait, that's really what I did :) So I must chalk yesterday up as a success. Today we have several errands to take care of, so it may be a bit trickier...also I need to extend the time on the timer and eventually work it out of the mix or she will be going every 25 mintues forever.

Ok so I don't really know what day it is in our potty training experiance...what I do know is that it has been going on for a very long time! Over the weekend, I started to use a timer, set every 20-30 minutes. She actually goes potty whenthe timer goes off, with out a fight...for about the first 3 hours. Then the novelty wears off and it back to the "but I don't have to"'s. This morning, I was resolved to go back to pull-ups (retiring the panties for a couple of weeks), but she asked for panties! Hour 1: potty twice and then poopies and pee-pees in the panties...AAARRRGGGGHHHH! Get her all cleaned up and threw the panties away...new panties on and the timer set...Hour 2: potty 3 times in a row and counting!!!
